If you’ve got kids or grandkids at home and need something simple to do this week, this Easter coloring contest is an easy option. Because as a mom of 3 littles all under 6 years old, low effort activities are a MUST!
It takes less than 20 minutes, it’s free, and kids can win prizes.

What This Is (And Why Families Are Doing It)
This is my first Easter coloring contest for kids in the Tri-Cities! And if you've been following me on socials you know how much my kids love to 'help' in all my business activities.
This year kids color the Easter egg, parents or grandparents snap a photo, and send it in to me. That’s it!
No accounts to create. No complicated steps.
It’s just something fun to do at the kitchen table that gives kids a chance to be part of something local.
The contest is open to kids 12 and under across Benton and Franklin County: Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland and all the cities in between.
How to Enter (Takes 10–20 Minutes)
Here’s exactly what to do:
1. Download the coloring page here!
2. Let your kids color it
Crayons, markers, whatever you already have.
3. Take a photo
Just use your phone.
4. Send it in

What Kids Can Win
There are a few simple prizes:
1st place: $50
2nd place: $30
3rd place: $20
Plus a local ice cream gift certificate
Nothing over the top, just enough to make it exciting for kids.
How Voting Works
After the deadline:
Voting happens on Facebook and Instagram
April 6–7
Each entry gets a number (no names shared)
Winners are announced after that, and prizes are delivered locally.

This is just one small way to give families something easy and local.

Don’t wait until the last night
Make sure the photo is clear
Include your contact info so prizes can be delivered
Let your kids have fun with it. It doesn’t need to be perfect
After submission entries I'll post the photos of the entries on social media on Facebook and Instagram and let you all vote!
